ENDEDThe Graphic Designer Intern will support Key of Life’s communication and program teams by creating visual content for social media, awareness campaigns, training materials, and organizational branding. The intern will help ensure that Key of Life’s messages are presented in a creative, consistent, and impactful manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Design social media posts, stories, reels graphics, and digital campaign visuals.
• Support the development of brochures, flyers, infographics, presentations, and reports.
• Create illustrations, icons, and branded elements aligned with Key of Life’s visual identity.
• Assist in basic photo editing and simple video editing when needed.
• Help maintain and update branding templates for visibility materials.
• Collaborate with program and communications teams to visually translate concepts.
• Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and meet donor visibility requirements.
• Perform other graphic and communication tasks as needed.
Learning Opportunities
• Gain hands-on experience designing for NGOs and humanitarian/development programs.
• Strengthen design, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
• Learn about branding, campaign development, and donor visibility guidelines.
• Build a strong professional portfolio with real projects.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent tools (Figma/Canva).
• Creativity, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines and collaborate with multiple teams.
• Basic video editing is an added advantage.
• Previous volunteering or NGO experience is a plus.
