The Finance Officer Intern will support Key of Life’s finance and accounting functions, contributing to accurate financial documentation, budgeting, procurement processes, and compliance with donor and organizational requirements. The intern will work closely with the Finance Officer and the administrative team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing, organizing, and filing financial documents (invoices, receipts, purchase orders, etc.).
• Support data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems and Excel trackers.
• Help with monthly reconciliations, including cash, bank, and petty cash reports.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and donor-related documentation.
• Support procurement documentation by ensuring quotations, purchase requests, and vendor files are complete and properly archived.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and financial reviews.
• Participate in inventory checks, asset tracking, and supporting logistics documentation when needed.
• Perform other administrative and financial tasks as required.

Requirements
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Good command of Excel (basic formulas, spreadsheets, data entry).
• Integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous volunteering or NGO experience is a plus but not required.
